ESL Business Lesson: A Day at Work
🎯 Objective Students will be able to talk about their workday, use common workplace vocabulary, and give a short update in a role play. 💬 1) Warm up: What time does your workday usually start? What is the first thing you do when you get to work? How do you organize your tasks? 📚 2) Vocabulary and Phrases: Match the Phrases with their meaning 🕒 3) Describe your Workday What is your most important task? How do you stay productive? What challenges do you face daily? What tools do you use (email, apps, reports)? 🎭 4) Role Play Your manager asks you for an update on your weekly tasks: Use these phrases: So far, I’ve completed… One challenge has been… My plan for tomorrow is.. 🧠 5) Reflection and Discussion What motivates you at work? How is your job different from 5 years ago? What would your ideal workday look like? Which soft skills are most important in your role? ✍🏼 6) Writing: You must be logged in to write/comment 🔁 7) Homework: Track your daily work tasks in English for one week.
